Justin J. Lannoye

Partner

Justin J. Lannoye has been a partner of the firm Dowd, Bloch, Bennett, Cervone, Auerbach & Yokich LLP since January 1, 2010. Justin joined the firm after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2002.

His practice is concentrated in advising employee benefit funds with respect to ERISA, HIPAA and Internal Revenue Code compliance, including plan design and administration, plan terminations and mergers, investments, fiduciary issues, subrogation, eligibility, benefit claims and appeals, and fraud prevention. Justin represents our fund clients in governmental investigations of mental health parity laws as well as IRS and DOL audits and investigations.

Justin represents welfare plans and defined benefit and defined contribution/401(k) retirement plans. He has also been involved in both federal and state court litigation of complex class action cases dealing with public employees’ retirement benefits and federal litigation to uphold union employees’ FMLA rights and to defend benefit fund clients. Justin is admitted to practice before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Northern District of Illinois and the Supreme Court of Illinois.
