Robert S. Cervone

Robert S. Cervone is a 1998 graduate of the Sturm College of Law – University of Denver. He became a partner in the firm in 2005. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, the Northern District of Indiana and the Supreme Courts of Illinois and Colorado (inactive).
Robert served nine years with National Labor Relations Board prior to joining Dowd, Bloch, Bennett & Cervone in 2000. While at the NLRB, Cervone worked as an investigator, field attorney and in supervisory roles, including Acting Assistant to the Regional Director. He investigated, presided over and participated in litigating cases of national scope and significance.
Robert’s practice with Dowd, Bloch, Bennett, Cervone, Auerbach & Yokich LLP is concentrated in traditional labor law. He devotes a substantial amount of his practice to contract negotiations for public and private sector labor organizations in healthcare, education, law enforcement, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing and construction. Robert also devotes a significant amount of his practice to proceedings before the NLRB, the Illinois State Labor Boards, the Illinois Department of Labor and other federal and state agencies as well as public and private sector labor arbitration.
