Ronald M. Willis

Ronald M. Willis is a 1972 graduate of Northwestern University School of Law. He has broad experience in traditional labor law matters including organizing strategies, contract negotiations, litigation before the NLRB involving representation and unfair labor practice matters, arbitration and contract interpretation issues.

Ronald has experience appearing before courts and administrative agencies involving contract enforcement issues, collection of employer contributions, employee benefit claims and the duty of fair representation. He was a former General Council of the Illinois Department of Labor and has represented labor organizations in both the private and public sector and has served as General Counsel for the Chicago and Central States Joint Board, Workers United.

Ronald is admitted to practice in the United States Courts of Appeals for the Seventh and Tenth Circuits and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (trial attorney), and the Illinois Supreme Court. He became a partner in the firm in 2006.
